We want you to shop with confidence that you are getting a great bargain, so many of our products include a “compare at” price on Dunham’s “red tag/white tag” price ticket. This comparison price represents the advertised price for the same or a comparable product offered by other retailers, based on our buyers’ analysis of the prices that other retailers advertise in their stores, catalogs, websites, or other marketing. We regard products as comparable when they have similar quality, design, style, and/or materials, and in some instances, this includes products that were manufactured in different years. Dunham’s price comparisons should be used for general information only, as we buy products from hundreds of vendors and cannot control what products other retailers choose to offer, at what price, and for how long. Likewise, a manufacturer’s inclusion of its suggested retail price (“MSRP”) on a product should only be regarded as a reflection of what the manufacturer believes the product might sell for, not a price to be compared to Dunham’s price, which may vary by market. In analyzing other retailers’ advertised prices, Dunham’s does not focus on whether any offers are made or sales occur at a product’s MSRP. Accordingly, Dunham’s encourages you to do your own comparison shopping as another way to evaluate the prices in your area. Other retailers will change their prices over time, but our goal is to provide you with a useful comparison point of what you may pay if you purchase the same or a comparable product from other retailers, so you can be sure you are getting a great bargain when you shop at Dunham’s.
